• Elaborate two-story facility design combines quality and sophistication with an entry plaza anchored by a 50 ft. clock tower and elegant lobby with stone fireplace and leather chairs

  • Guided Teacher’s Federal Credit Union through IDEATION rebranding process to become TruStone Financial
  • Implemented custom Culture Program and employee training curricula to aid staff in leveraging the new retail space, providing financial education to members, and delivering on the TruStone brand
  • Developed “education”-inspired branch prototype design featuring member engagement rooms, teller pods encouraging personal interaction, strategically situation digital screens, and a welcoming, home-inspired décor
 

Santander Bank

  • Created ultramodern prototype branch model for three acquired metro London banking locations for world top-five financial institution
  • Innovative “financial showroom” branch prototype features: delineated customer zones; global Santander visual branding merged with local UK market influences; open, flexible and intuitive customer flow; and integration of cutting-edge digital technologies

Ascend Federal Credit Union: Victory Station

  • Leveraged AEDC Credit Union's aeronautical heritage and the theme of "taking flight" to create new brand name and identity, "ASCEND."
  • Retrofitted main office and existing branches with colorful, contemporary ASCEND branding and retail design
  • Designed and built cutting-edge pilot location, Victory Station, opened in April 2007
  • Increased new household growth by 8.3%, deposit growth by 10.3%, loan growth by 13.9%, and cross-selling by 21.5%

 

 

ORNL Federal Credit Union

• Developed progressive, scalable environmental retail program for ORNL freestanding, storefront, and in-store branch locations

• 360-degree retail elements include window graphics, vestibule, self-service area, kid’s area, teller pods, generic brand panels, and directional signage

• Designed modern, colorful, lifestyle visuals and messaging bringing the ORNL brand to life

• Transformed traditional, non-descript branch environments into highly branded, vibrant, dynamic spaces promoting products, services, and customer engagement

 

 

 

BMO Harris Bank

• Developed comprehensive rebranding and retail merchandising program as part of Harris Bank’s nationwide transition to BMO Harris Bank

• Starting with the phase-one rebrand of 231 Harris Bank legacy branch locations in Illinois and Indiana, completed in 2011, the finished project will span 426 retail stores across the U.S. by Fall, 2012

• Rebrand elements include: new logo development; design of all in-branch retail communications in crisp, contemporary BMO brand blue; repurposing of existing merchandising fixtures; and creation of supplemental brand/retail media

 

 

Co-operative Bank

  • Designed innovative in-store banking branch prototype for Co-operative food stores
  • Planned and implemented strategic Points-of-Experience within food store environment to attract and guide grocery shoppers to the financial branch
  • Engaging, welcoming retail branch design features a Greeter Station, discrete consulting room, ATM vestibule, hospitality bar serving Fair Trade Coffee, and signature Co-operative brand image artwork throughout

 

 

Union Bank

• Successful rebrand of one acquired bank location led to assigned development of a full-scale retail merchandising program for entire Union Bank network

• Retail design focused on reinforcing the Union brand, breadth of financial offers, community involvement, and localized service approach

• End-to-end services included consulting, design and development, digital solutions, fixture installation, light renovation, and behavior immersion

• Hallmark retail features include a storytelling Union history wall, branded red “U” welcome kiosk, behind-teller digital displays, and scalable grid system for fast, easy change-out of promotional graphics

 

 

 

US Community Credit Union

• Created custom retail environment and merchandising program for flagship branch in Lebanon, TN, to be selectively rolled out to future locations

• Recommended strategic interior color and finish alternatives for improved integration with environmental graphics system

• Charged with visually translating the US Community brand in an eye-catching way that synchronized with new facility design while “standing out” from local competitors

 
• Retail and merchandising elements include welcome/history wall, custom “plexi-wave” soffit design feature, large three-screen digital wall, promotional posters, and exterior and drive-thru banners

 

 

 

MemberOne Federal Credit Union

• Designed stationery to create a sophisticated, modern approach to the MemberOne brand.

• Created a dynamic brochure system to house each of MemberOne's products and services.

• Developed a website with upgraded online banking experience, incorporating bold grays and purples to create a distinctive look.

• Concepted and produced three years of television commercials to create MemberOne brand awareness.

 

 

Steinbach Credit Union

• Designed and built large-scale, landmark building on Winnipeg’s West Side for one of Canada’s predominant credit unions

• Dynamic, leading-edge facility design with robust Green features including geothermal heating/cooling, triple-glazed windows, and white heat-reflective roof

• Extensive use of 3D design technologies to explore architectural concepts and interior layouts centered on the CU’s labor-intensive, hands-on approach to member service

 

 

Grow Financial

• Rebranded MacDill Federal Credit Union with the industry-defying new name Grow Financial and promise-filled tagline, “More In Return”

• Retail design embodies the energy and spirit of the mantra Grow Through Life with the CU’s vibrant new identity and brand colors, lifestyle graphics, merchandising, and digital signage

• Developed transformative, scalable retail design solutions for an 18-branch conversion executed in just three days

 

 

 

Otero Federal Credit Union

• Identified premier downtown site for new administrative office close to existing facilities and consumer traffic

• Traditional-meets-modern architectural design blending the indigenous style and culture of surrounding Sacramento Mountains, including a 2-story tower entry and terracotta barrel tile roof

• Designed/constructed modernized headquarters building to consolidate operations personnel with room for growth over a 10-15 year timeframe

  • Rebranded San Antonio City Employees Credit Union to “Generations,” conveying community-wide membership access while honoring the institution’s history of service
  • Designed retail branch model around the warmth, rich colors, and lifestyle appeal of the visual brand combined with cultural influences of a largely Hispanic local market
  • Developed contemporary brand identity with a logo featuring lower-case letters to “deinstitutionalize” the CU’s image, iconic waves representing movement from one era to the next, and visual support for the tagline, “What’s Next?”
  • Progressive digital/retail solutions include generation-specific member engagement zones, Children’s Area, Computer Café, loan kiosks, and curved cash bar teller station

 

 

Frost Bank

• Client challenged with disparate branch design, layout, age, and branding elements across its 100 Texas financial centers due to acquisition and aggregation

• Implemented full-scale retail design and digital signage solutions including open Greeter Stations, regional and branded artwork, online banking centers, and flat-screen and other digital merchandising media

• Developed a structured, multiyear retrofit program of 75 existing branch locations focused on lobby area remodels to create consistent, contemporary, branded in-store environments

    FirstLight Federal Credit Union

    • Designed and developed new, sustainable branch office for Fort Bliss, TX, community credit union   
    • Energy-efficient branch features include a 14% efficiency-rated HVAC system, low-emitting VOC (Volitle Organic Compounds) policy, heatload-reducing roof surface, and locally sourced and recycled materials
    • Delivered consulting services to aid Credit Union in rising to Army’s strict LEED Silver Certification requirements
    • Educated staff on branch’s Green features and their positive impacts on the local community.
     

    FivePoint Credit Union

    • Developed and translated the FivePoint brand into innovative main office facility and retail store designs

    • Employee-centric features include a fully outfitted fitness room, two staff lounges with distinct cafe and bistro motifs, and an outdoor balcony and walkway

    • New administration building houses executive offices, boardroom, employee training room, marketing and HR resources, state-of-the-art data center

     

     

     

    FNBT/FCB

    • First National Bank Texas (FNBT) and First Convenience Bank (FCB), a division of FNBT
    • Transitioned print-based in-store retail merchandising platform to state-of-the-art digital signage system across FNBT/FCB’s expanding 280-branch network.
    • Implemented fully managed, Web-based digital solution, enabling control and change-out of digital graphics and messaging from a central point for timeliness and accuracy.
    • Installed robust digital solution including several 42” tied displays and a minimum of five 17” teller monitors in select FNBT/FCB locations.
    • System features include: day-part programming; content scheduling by region, branch, or screen; multiple channels per player; and remote monitoring and reporting.
    • Reduced print production costs by 50% while enhancing FNBT/FCB’s brand image as a forward thinking, tech-savvy financial institution.

    • Enacted Accelerated Development Program to build urgent branch for Kentucky’s largest credit union in under six months
