Design firm receives recognition as a top privately held company in the local area
CHESTERFIELD, Mo., May 30, 2018–NewGround, a St. Louis-based experiential design firm, recently celebrated its nomination as one of the St. Louis Business Journal’s Top 150+ Privately Held Companies for 2018.
Revenue in 2017 reached $105 million, and the business has extended revenue backlogs well into 2018 and 2019. Transforming legacy branches into relevant banking centers and designing workplace strategies for corporate headquarters and back office support has become crucial in serving financial services consumers who wish to integrate digital channels, giving NewGround plenty of growth opportunities.
The company added 18 jobs in 2017, including eight positions in the St. Louis office. In 2018, about 45 jobs will be added across the nation, with St. Louis gaining 6-10 positions.
“The rebound of the business since the financial recession has been outstanding,” said President and CEO Kevin Blair. “The company’s diversification and solid business strategy have led to a 90 percent increase in revenue since 2014.”
NewGround’s St. Louis office houses 74 employees, with a total of 243 employees working in five offices spread across North America.
