Branch opens its doors with a new design
CHESTERFIELD, Mo., December 5, 2019–NewGround, a St. Louis-based innovative architecture, design, and project management firm, recently celebrated the grand opening for St. Jean’s Credit Union’s new branch in Revere, Massachusetts on November 25.
A relocation of St. Jean’s Shirley Avenue branch, the new 4,500 square foot free-standing building now offers high visibility and easy access on a pad site in front of the popular Wonderland Marketplace shopping center, adjacent to the heavily-traveled VFW Parkway with proximity to the Boston subway system.
St. Jean’s Credit Union will occupy 2,626 square feet of the building, leasing out the remaining 1,874 square feet space to AT&T Wireless.
As the credit union’s first design using the universal banker model, the new design features a teller pod with a cash recycler, 24-hour vestibule smart ATM, and drive-up lanes with an ATM.
The space utilizes energy-efficient mechanical, lighting, and glass systems and creates a much stronger retail presence, mirroring many exterior architectural features of their main office located in Salem.
NewGround provided strategy, design, due diligence, construction, environmental graphics, and change management training services for the new branch.
