NewGround to deliver its fourth new prototypical branch facility
among 10-year partnership

CHESTERFIELD, Mo., April 12, 2021–NewGround, a St. Louis-based innovative architecture, design, and project management firm, recently celebrated the groundbreaking of U.S. Eagle Federal Credit Union’s (FCU) new prototypical branch in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
This will be U.S. Eagle FCU’s fourth ground-up facility completed by NewGround. The new 5,651 square foot branch office will replace the old motor branch and features three drive-up teller lanes and one drive-up ATM. The Menaul location will serve as the second branch completed with U.S. Eagle FCU’s new prototypical design, following the recently completed branch location on Juan Tabo Blvd.
“This is the next exciting iteration of our U.S. Eagle FCU branch prototype. From the outside in, we carried forward several major brand touchpoints from Juan Tabo to this larger branch,” said NewGround Designer/Planner Alisha Tyler. “The exterior design features the same iconic blue and green canopies at the main entry and drive-thru as well as the highly recognizable brand tower with lighting. On the interior, the 3×3 video wall and suspended eagle sculpture behind the greeter station creates a highly visible marketing opportunity upon entry, which is visible from Menaul Blvd. Although this larger branch has additional offices and a larger lobby, the prototype elements work together in a familiar way to create a similarly branded experience that we hope to carry into all future U.S. Eagle FCU projects as well.”
Working with local general contractor Enterprise Builders, NewGround provided world-class branch design, interior retail environments, furnishings, and project management services for the new facility.
NewGround representatives who attended the formal groundbreaking ceremony included Regional Vice President of Business Development Steve Clark and Project Executive Ralph Nelson.

U.S. Eagle FCU’s new branch on Menaul Blvd. is anticipated to be complete by December 2021, with two more branches in design which include a storefront endcap in the new Avanyu Plaza and a new ground-up facility on Academy Blvd.
